Yes. All Slayer hoses are hot water compatible up to 60°C (140°F). The hybrid PVC + rubber construction retains structural integrity and kink resistance at elevated temperatures where standard PVC hoses begin to soften and fail. This covers most hot water pressure washers used in commercial cleaning, fleet washing, and food service environments.

Rubber hoses are heavy and stiff, especially in cold weather. PVC hoses are light but kink easily and degrade with hot water. The Slayer's hybrid construction combines a PVC inner tube with a rubber outer layer and polyester braided reinforcement — 20% lighter than rubber, tougher than PVC, and hot water compatible up to 60°C where PVC fails. The non-marking outer cover also protects surfaces from scuffs.

For home use — car washing, driveway, or patio — 7.5m or 10m covers most situations without excess hose to manage. Contractors and detailers benefit from 15m for full mobility around a vehicle or property without moving the machine. 20m suits large commercial setups — workshop bays, nurseries, and fleet washing where maximum reach matters. For long runs, consider sizing up the hose diameter (10mm or 13mm) to minimise pressure drop at the nozzle.

Burst pressure (724 Bar on all Slayer hoses) is the point of catastrophic failure. The 3:1 safety ratio — 242 Bar working pressure times 3 equals 724 Bar burst — gives headroom for pressure spikes, transient pulses from machine startup, and partial kink events that momentarily amplify pressure in the line. This margin is what separates a safe hose from a dangerous one during real-world use.

Slayer reels are auto-retractable wall mount reels that come paired with a matched Slayer hose. Pull the hose to your working length and the reel locks it in position. A slight tug releases the lock and the reel automatically winds the hose back in. They mount on walls, ceilings, or floors. The 6mm reels (PWHYR0610M, PWHYR0615M, PWHYR0620M) use a single arm design with M22 fittings. The 10mm and 13mm reels use Fixed & Revolving NPT fittings, with single arm on shorter lengths and dual arm on longer 15m and 20m models for added stability. All reels are hot water rated to 60°C.
