When I opened the tap fully, my old hose would bulge and eventually burst at a weak point. I had to always keep the tap at half pressure. The culprit was my a hose with a low burst pressure rating. After enough frustration I upgraded to Zephyr after checking its pressure rating before buying. Now I use it for high-pressure car washing, driveway cleaning, and wall washing without a second thought. That was 5 years ago. The hose looks and performs exactly as it did on day one. This is what a quality product feels like.
